Who to Trust?

The United Kingdom Shareholders’ Association (UKSA) created and maintains this site. Sections of this site explain the players in the industry and warn of the games they can play. We aim to help you compete.

We are independent of all conflicts of interest. This means we can be straightforwardly honest but prevents us from accepting industry sponsorship or major donations from individuals with a vested interest. We believe we are unique in that respect.

The future

Our ambitions are limited by this independence, which denies us easy sources of finance.

But a multi-disciplinary team, with government money, could develop a more sophisticated version of this site to make full use modern educational techniques. Government should commit to helping individuals to help themselves, but is hamstrung by its dependence on the tax revenues on profits from an industry that benefits from your ignorance.
